Final Fantasy XIV is still the world’s most popular MMORPG, which means even more updates, expansions, and achievements are on the way. Surprisingly, after 10 years, one player was finally able to get all of the game’s achievements, which is a ridiculously impressive feat.

A Japanese player on the MMO’s Garuda server was the first person ever to get all 2,751 achievements in the game. No, that’s not a typo, there are 2,751 achievements in the game and the news has surprised many players in the official subreddit.

It’s impressive to see someone with so much drive and, to be honest, free time get to complete all the achievements for this MMO. Most of these achievements are pretty crazy, including one where players need to complete 20,000 accursed hoards in the game.

Since the name of this Final Fantasy XIV player wasn’t given, we won’t know their reaction to this anytime soon. With all that being said, this is an incredible achievement in the history of gaming. That’s why we’re curious to know if they will be happy that future expansions will just add more achievements, making his effort almost fruitless.

Admittedly, it’s not too surprising to see people fall in love with the game, as many often say this MMO has one of the best Final Fantasy stories ever. The devs in Square Enix actually want more players to know this, as they’ve adjusted story quests to be playable solo, for anyone who doesn’t want to play with others.

Despite Square Enix wanting more players to give Final Fantasy XIV a try, they won’t be making it free-to-play anytime soon. In fairness to Square Enix, the company has released a couple of beloved free trials, to the point that it’s become a meme. There are even plans to expand these free trials, which means even longer memes.
