Fortnite is now two chapters and six seasons strong.
Epic Games' incredible third-person shooter continues to dominate the market as one of, if not the best, leading battle royale games avaialble.
It's available on more devices and consoles than we care to remember. PS4, Xbox, PC, Mobile, Nintendo Switch; however, the game has yet to arrive on Google Stadia.
Adding the game onto the Stadia service would definitely be a big plus to the game streaming platform, yet it seems pretty unlikely that could happen at the time of writing.

Is Fortnite coming to Google Stadia?
One of the big reasons why Fortnite isn’t yet available to play on Google Stadia is that seemingly, it's not big enough yet.
This seems to be the explanation as outlined by Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney in a rather public Tweet sent back in July of 2020.
According to the CEO, Epic Games is currently handling Fortnite updates on more than 7 platforms already.
Adding Fortnite on Google Stadia it seems would prove a bridge too far, ever for a company like Epic Games.
Although it's not just the fact that 8 platforms is too many, but also the small userbase of Google Stadia that is an issue.
As noted by Sweeny: "[that] makes it hard to add platforms that don’t yet have mass market user bases."
If you were looking to scratch that battle royale itch on Google Stadia, you could try the Stadia version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.

Could Fortnite release on Stadia in the future?
Epic Games currently has no plans to release Fortnite on Google Stadia until the platform gets more users.
That is clear based on Sweeney's comments.
However, this doesn't rule out the possibility of Fortnite coming to the platform.
Who knows, potentially if Google Stadia manages to improve it's user base, we could see Epic Games launch the game on Google's burgeoning streaming platform one day.
Although, we wouldn't hold our breath waiting for it, that's for sure.
