Two more Spider-Man: No Way Home villains have finally been confirmed

Spider-Man: No Way Home will finally give fans — and Sony — the Sinister Six movie they’ve been waiting for. However, up until now, we weren't entirely sure exactly which Spider-Man villains would be making up the terrifying group.

Upon the release of the movie's first trailer, it was confirmed that Green Goblin, Dr. Octopus and Electro would return. Obviously, that still leaves three more villains unaccounted for. Well, finally, we have news of two more.

No Way Home brings back Sandman and The Lizard

Even before the release of the first trailer, rumours claimed that Sandman and The Lizard would be involved in the movie. Seeing as Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s webheads are set to return, it makes sense that two more of their villains would as well.

After months of speculation, the return of Sandman and The Lizard has been confirmed by movie magazine Empire. In a passage from the article, it’s revealed that both characters will not only be back, but will both be portrayed by their original actors. But should this information be believed?

Well, Empire’s information comes as part of a massive feature on the upcoming Marvel movie. Not only does the piece include new information, but also new images from the film. Pictures of Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock as well as behind the scenes images are all included. Of course, these images are all given to the outlet by Marvel.

Who is the last villain in Spider-Man: No Way Home?

Even with this information, there's still only five confirmed villains in Spider-Man: No Way Home. We have an article theorising who the last member could be, but it's still up in the air. Some fans believe the movie will introduce Scorpion, a classic Spidey villain that was introduced in the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming.

One last theory is that the final member of the Sinister Six will be Venom. The character is now in the MCU and Sony is desperate to make them crossover. However, while it would make sense for the Symbiote to make a cameo, going full villain this fast doesn't make sense.
