Skittles leaks Andrew Garfield No Way Home appearance

Posted on Twitter by SpiderManNews, the Russian Skittles website is currently running a No Way Home promotion. Seemingly partnering with Marvel, the confectionary brand is pushing content for the upcoming Spider-Man film.

On the website, fans are instructed to “turn the screen and win prizes from Skittles!” Those who do so will be greeted with a new screen plastered in Spider-Man advertisements. However, the Spider-Man in question isn't Tom Holland's version, but instead Andrew Garfield's.

The screen moves to a city street with a billboard showing a close-up of Garfield’s webhead. Wearing his getup from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, a beloved suit, Garfield’s Spidey is merely a thumbnail for the first trailer.

Is this legitimate?

We can confirm that this is a real page on the Russian skittles website. Over the course of the night, the website did change the image to Tom Holland's Iron Spider suit from the new movie. However, Garfield’s Spidey was there front and centre yesterday.

However, the image of Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man doesn't appear new. Fans state that the image looks very similar to a shot from The Amazing Spider-Man 2. However, leaks for No Way Home state that Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire’s webheads are taken directly from moments in their respective movies. Would this result in reused footage?
