It was only a matter of time before Pokémon GO added the monsters from Scarlet and Violet’s Paldea. While we won’t be getting all of the critters from the two most recent Switch RPGs, the ones added are fan favorites.

The official Pokémon GO website reveals that the Paldean Pokémon will be released in batches and fans will have to wait specific dates for specific creatures. New raids and tasks will be part of the update as well, which is the norm when it comes to this mobile title.

Here’s a list of all the Paldean Pokémon coming to Pokémon GO next week:

September 5

  • Sprigatito
  • Floragato
  • Meowscarada
  • Fuecoco
  • Crocalor
  • Skeledirge
  • Quaxly
  • Quaxwell
  • Quaquaval
  • Lechonk
  • Oinkologne (male)
  • Oinkologne (female)

September 10

  • Nymble
  • Lokix
  • Pawmi
  • Pawmo
  • Pawmot
  • Bombirdier
  • Frigibax
  • Arctibax
  • Baxcalibur

Fans hoping for more of the Paldean Pokémon will have to wait for a future update to get them. Niantic tends to drip feed Pokémon from their respective generations, with some creatures not available in the mobile title yet.

Beyond new critters to catch, mobile users can also expect more shiny Pokémon to appear and customizable items for their avatars. Interestingly, the new clothes for player avatars are based on the upcoming Teal Mask DLC.

Overall, this is a nicer update than usual, since fans have been burned by developer Niantic several times. Players haven’t forgotten the price increase for Remote Raids, a move seemingly done out of pure greed. Recent events have also been controversial as they tend to focus more on players who spend real money to participate.
