God of War: Ragnarök is only a few days away and fans are excited to see the continuation of Kratos’ story. However, it seems that PS5 owners are already seeing spoilers wherever they go, with the next-gen console spoiling everything.
PS5 owners are familiar with the Explore tab on their console, letting them know information about a game they are playing or have pre-ordered. Unfortunately, those who did the latter are now seeing spoilers for the highly-anticipated sequel, disappointing many fans.
It’s unclear if Sony will do anything about these spoilers, especially with God of War: Ragnarök coming out in a few days. At the least, fans won’t have to wait too long to get their hands on this sequel so they can experience this tale for themselves.

A fan on Reddit was the unfortunate victim of these spoilers, telling fans on the PS5 subreddit about the console’s Explore feature sharing spoilers. These spoilers for Ragnarök seem to be coming from gamers who got a copy early or from reviewers who are reviewing the game.
We won’t be sharing any of the spoilers here but, needless to say, PS5 owners may want to be careful. Not playing the PS5 until the game’s release is pretty extreme, but maybe playing the system offline or not pre-ordering the digital version of the title will help.
For now, it seems that God of War: Ragnarök will live up to the hype, as the game has been reviewing really well with critics. It also helps that the sequel runs well on both PS4 and PS5, with multiple graphics mode options for the next-gen version.
God of War: Ragnarök will be coming out on PS4 and PS5 later this week, on November 9. Players that purchase the PS4 version and want to upgrade to PS5 will have to pay for the upgrade, so keep that in mind.
