Fans think Fortnite's Nike characters are made out of something disgusting

Fortnite’s Nike crossover characters are in the game and they look like they’re made out of…well, uh, something disgusting. While the folks at the iconic shoe company were hoping it would look like they’re made of “air,” fans think they’re made of something else.

The characters in question are Maxxed Out Max and Airie, two original conceptions made for this shooter. Maxxed Out Max just looks like a robot made out of corporate sponsorships. However, Airie looks like a sexy lady made out of ejaculate and that just feels wrong.

Unsurprisingly, Fortnite fans are already making all kinds of nasty jokes on social media and we can’t blame them. Most of the dirty jokes come from the comments in @ShiinaBR’s post, some of which we’ll post below.

“Do I even need to say what the right one looks like?” says @DexterAoC. “First fortnite skin to be made out of cum,” bluntly said by @TheOkayPot.

“Don’t start to say anything bruh cus you know how Fortnite is,” chimed in @bumblebee2775. “And they’ll remove the color.”

Honestly, we can’t blame these fans, as the all-white look of Airie just invites those comparisons. If they gave her coloured clothes it would be less disturbing but she’s all white and fans just couldn’t help themselves.

What makes this even weirder is how Nike already had characters in the game before and they didn’t look like this. Granted, they were more bland because they were just people in Nike clothes. It makes us wonder if they should have just re-released those.

Then again, these skins are actually getting people talking so this might have been the better decision. Either way, we wouldn’t be surprised if Airie becomes the face of some really nasty memes because of her design.

Fortnite is a free-to-play battle royale and is available in pretty much every modern gaming platform available. The same goes for these Nike characters, though we don’t know how long they will be available after these reactions.
