YouTube is one of the most popular free online video streaming apps in the world today. You can use it for free, and it merely requires your email address to create an account.

But what if you suddenly forget the email address linked to your YouTube account? People can become confused on which email is being logged in on their YouTube app.

With that being said, here's how to find out the email address linked to your YouTube account.

Find out your linked email address in the YouTube app

If you are using a browser on the PC, it shouldn't be a problem at all.

Open the YouTube app on your PC's browser and head on to the top-right corner of the YouTube window. You should see there an icon of your account's picture, or initials if you don't have one.

Once you click it, a menu would pop up. You may now know the email address linked to your account placed below your YouTube account name.

How to reset YouTube username or password

If you forget your YouTube username or password in any instance, you can reset those. Here's how you do it:

  • Open the YouTube app and click the Sign-In option located at the top-right corner of the window.
  • Head on to the Forget Username or Forget Password link option available.
  • Fill-in your email address and a verification code will then be sent to your email.
  • Check your inbox and copy the verification code. Enter it and you may now reset your password or username in no time.
