When Is Hades 2 Releasing on PS5?

Hades 2 Early Access has kicked off on PC from May 6, 2024, and now, its console fans are wondering when the Hades 2 PS5 version will be available.

Developed by Supergiant Games, this exciting dungeon crawler roguelike is expected to last in early access until at least the end of 2024, with plans to have “major updates” every few months which will contain new content, like new Hades 2 bosses, Boons, and story elements.

Is Hades 2 on PS5?

Hades 2 will likely arrive on PS5 in mid-2025, after the early access period is over which is expected to last "at least through the end of 2024."

According to developer Supergiant Games, Hades 2 will eventually be released on consoles, as stated in the official FAQ. This won't happen until the Early Access period is over, and we can expect a reasonable break between the full release on PC and the PS5 version of Hades 2, as was the case with the console ports of the first game.

Considering that Hades 2 is already fairly polished in early access, we imagine most of the upcoming updates will be fixing bugs, adding in any missing content, and ensuring the experience is as perfect as it can be before the game is ported onto other platforms.

That means that you'll have to wait a little while before the game will eventually be released on the PlayStation 5. However, the first game is available on both PS4 and PS5 and can be regularly bought on sale. But, in all honesty, it’s worth the full price.
