As you fight your way through the underworld, you’ll have to beat a lot of Hades 2 bosses that block your path. From your mentor Hecate all the way to the cyclops Polyphemus. However, Melinoe has no time to waste as she's got her sights set on Chronos, the Titan of Time. So, it’s a good idea to know who you’re up against.
Below are all the bosses in Hades 2 Early Access right now, though more will be added over time as the story is built on leading up to the full release date. While the current Hades 2 boss list might look rather slim, they don’t go down easy. Obviously, spoilers ahead…
All Hades 2 Bosses
The seven Hades 2 bosses right now are:
- Hecate
- Scylla and the Sirens
- Infernal Beast (Cerberus)
- Chronos
- Polyphemus
- Charybdis
- Eris
As you’d expect from developer Supergiant Games, the Hades 2 bosses are absolutely incredible. From their diverse movesets and unique style to neat little details like Scylla’s band playing the area's music or being unable to pause in the Chronos boss fight. He is the Titan of Time after all; your pause button has nothing on him.
Not all of these bosses are made equally. With four floors in the main run right now, you’ll be facing off against Hecate, Scylla, Cerberus, and Chronos for the crown. Polyphemus, Charybdis, and Eris are mini-bosses. However, that’s not to say they don’t pose a significant threat if you underestimate them.
Hecate
The first Hades 2 boss is Headmistress Hecate, Melinoe’s mentor. Thankfully, Hecate hasn’t decided to switch sides; this boss fight is all about testing Melinoe’s skills before she truly begins her journey. Again though, just because Hecate is testing you, doesn’t mean she’ll go easy on you.
Scylla and the Sirens
In the second area, you’ll get perhaps the best boss in Hades - 1 and 2 - Scylla and the Sirens. If you’re a fan of Hades’ music, then this boss fight was made for you. This musical trio will tease you with their music when you enter the area, lulling you in before finally putting you to the test. While we all wish we could join their band, you’ll have to take Scylla and her sirens down.
With so much going on all at once in this fight, the Scylla and the Sirens boss will be quite a step up for many players.
Infernal Beast
Fans of Hades 1 will no doubt recognise Cerberus. The three-headed dog is back, though this time they’re amped up and eager for a fight after Chronos’ meddling.
With their large size, the Infernal Beast packs a heavy punch with its sweeping AoE attacks that cover the arena. Thankfully, they’re not the fastest boss. So, stay on the move and dodge Cerberus’ slams and you’ll get them in no time.
Chronos
As the Titan of Time and final boss in Hades 2, Chronos is quite the challenge. The arena is fairly small, limiting how much space you have to dodge Chronos’ AoE attacks, especially when there are minions to contend with. You really have to learn how to dodge and come packing one of the best Hades 2 builds if you want to beat Chronos.
That’s all the Hades 2 bosses right now, so grab the best Hades 2 weapons and get going. And don’t forget, as a roguelike, you’re not necessarily supposed to beat all the bosses in your first attempt. Returning later on with more upgrades under your belt will go a long way in making the boss list easier to conquer.
