Enshrouded: How to craft Grappling Hook
You will unlock the Grappling Hook recipe when you create your first Workbench and place it next to the Flame Altar. Here are the resources you'll need to make the Hook:
- 4x Metal Scraps
- 7x String
- 10x Shroud Spores
Metal Scraps can be obtained from the bodies of killed enemies or ruined objects throughout the map. Along with Metal Scraps, you can also find Strings on abandoned objects. If you choose to craft them, they are made from Plant Fibers. Plant Fibers are collected from small bushes and berry bushes. Shroud Spores can be collected from killed shrouds. These enemies can be found in Enshrouded zones, scattered throughout the game map.
After you have collected all the necessary resources, follow the next steps:
- Return to your camp and interact with the Workbench.
- In the list on the left, look for the Survival category. This is where you will find Grappling Hook.
- Click on the icon and select Craft.

Once you have created a Grappling Hook, you need to equip it:
- Open the menu.
- Next, go to the Character tab.
