Everyone loves gliders in games, so you're probably wondering how to craft Glider in Enshrouded. This gadget will allow you to quickly cover long distances without putting yourself at unnecessary risk, so you should craft it as soon as possible.
While in most games, gliders are just fast and fun, in Enshrouded, they are a key element of survival, so it's no surprise that they are unlocked so early. In the game, a large part of the area is covered by the Shroud, which is quite dangerous to be in, so it's great to be able to just fly over it.

How to make a Glider in Enshrouded
Firstly, to craft the Glider, you have to unlock Blacksmith. If you haven't done so yet, just keep playing the game until you get a quest with this NPC. After that, craft the Flame Altar with 5 Stone. You will also need a Workbench which you can craft from 3 String and 8 Wood Logs.
You can easily make String from 3 Plant Fiber which can be collected from a variety of plants and bushes. Furthermore, you can also find String while exploring abandoned camps. To get Wood Logs, just find and cut down some trees with your axe.
The next step is to collect all the necessary materials for crafting the Glider. This may take a little time, but fortunately, all of these materials are quite common. The Glider recipe looks like this:
- 8 Shroud Wood
- 2 Shroud Spores
- 2 String
- 2 Animal Fur
The process of harvesting Shroud Wood is not much different from regular trees, but this wood can only be found inside an area covered by the Shroud. You can also find Shroud Spores in Enshrouded areas, they fall from cursed enemies. To get Animal Fur, hunt forest animals such as Rams or Wolves.
When you finally collect all the materials, go to the Workbench and find Glider in the Survival tab. After that, go to the Character screen, where you can equip Glider in the special slot on the left.
How to use Glider in Enshrouded
To use the Glider, you have to press the jump button in flight or press it twice if you are on the ground. The glider is a great way to cover long distances in Enshrouded, but it has some limitations, and if you don’t know them, it will quickly lead your character to death.
The glider accelerates you well, but it loses altitude quickly and is also quite clumsy. In addition, flying quickly consumes your Stamina. If it runs out, you'll just start falling, which will most likely lead to your death, so make sure your Stamina bar is full before jumping. Land carefully because if the angle of flight is too sharp, the character will crash.
