With the PS5 only a couple of months away, you might be wondering about which games you'll be playing on it.
Some of the games are coming to both PS4 and PS5, and that you have a decision to make; should you stick with PS4, or is the PS5 version worth the price of a console?
Will the PS5 version really have enough upgrades and improvements to warrant you upgrading your console when you might not be able to afford it.
Well, let's take a look at the differences.
Should you play Horizon Forbidden West on PS4 or PS5
Horizon Forbidden West is set to continue the story of Aloy as she journeys through a post-post-apocalypse and tries to uncover the history of the world and what on earth brought about the strangeness that it finds itself in.
It also has her swimming.
The good news is that there shouldn't be any content differences between the PS4 and PS5 version. The PS5 version is likely to be far better to play thanks to improved graphics, performance, and incredibly fast loading times, but other than that, they should be the same game.
So, unless you're going to be getting a PS5 before the game actually comes out, you shouldn't need to worry about this too much.

Will there be a free upgrade?
Thankfully, the argument is a little pointless for most people.
Sony, despite saying that (we're paraphrasing) cross-gen games smell of poo and are for losers, have, in fact, decided to not only support them, but also support free upgrades for a lot of them.
That means that if you do get Horizon Forbidden West on PS4 that you'll get the upgraded version on PS5 if you decide to upgrade. That's excellent news for people without much disposable income, which is basically everyone at the moment.
