AMD's latest graphics card, known as Big Navi, is set to compete with NVIDIA's upcoming GeForce RTX 3080 Ti for the best graphics card on the market as we roll further into 2020.

While we already know the power of AMD's Navi architecture through the RX 5700 graphics card, this new GPU, nicknamed Big Navi, looks to be even more powerful, with it being described as the 'NVIDIA Killer'.

If you can't wait to get your hands on AMD's RDNA 2 technology, which also features in the PS5 and Xbox Series X, here's what we know about the release date.

According to AMD's CFO, Devinder Kumar, the next RDNA 2 graphics card is scheduled to launch in "late 2020".

According to leaks from Wccftech sources, AMD's next graphics card will launch in October 2020 alongside the next AMD Ryzen CPU.

This means we could likely see Big Navi launch in the same window as the next-gen consoles, but after the NVIDIA GeForce TX 3080 Ti.

When will AMD reveal Big Navi and its release date?

As of now, AMD has yet to hold a presentation or conference announcing its next line of graphics card. It's likely the company planned to launch a new line of products close to E3, but after its cancellation opted for their own event instead.

We'd expect AMD to wait until after NVIDIA's showcase, scheduled for September 1, so they can potentially undercut their competitors by marketing Big Navi as the more affordable option. If this is the case, a late September event looks likely.

As AMD's RDNA 2 is present in the PS5 and Xbox Series X, the company may not be able to announce the release date at its own event until Microsoft and Sony announce the release date of their consoles.
