The last few months have not been good for the reputation of Ezra Miller. Following the release of Fantastic Beasts 3, the actor has been involved in a number of controversies.
For example, the actor was arrested numerous times in Hawaii for assault and harassment. The actor even received a restraining order for threatening to “bury and kill” a couple. Furthermore, the actor was still filming scenes for The Flash during this period.
Ezra Miller apologises
Throughout this period, Miller has remained quiet on the situation. While the actor did post memes to Instagram, they have remained completely silent since then.
In a statement published by Variety, Miller finally addressed the controversial period. In the statement, the actor admitted that they’ve been going through a period of “complex mental health issues”.
“Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment,” they said. “I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior.
The actor then went on to state that they will be going through treatment to better themselves. While they didn’t state it they would be continuing to star in major pictures, they did say this:
“I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life.”

Will they still play The Flash?
The first step to solving a problem is to admit that you have one. Thankfully, Ezra Miller has admitted fault and may be on their way to fixing their issues. However, it doesn’t take back what they’ve done.
While Warner Bros is set on releasing The Flash movie, there’s no news of continuing the series afterwards. In fact, there are rumours that Warner Bros will cut Miller off as soon as the movie is out.
Whatever the case, at least Miller is getting the help they need. However, that doesn’t reduce the seriousness of the actor’s transgressions.
