Xbox Series X restock date and availability tracker: When will more Xbox Series X/S consoles be available in 2021?

The Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S are out now, but you might be struggling to find one and wondering when a restock might happen, with Phil Spencer apologising to fans during GlitchCon over the lack of Xbox consoles in stock.

If you're not wanting to give in and buy an overpriced Xbox from a scalper on eBay, online retailers are gradually refilling their Xbox stock as we move further into 2021 and leave the Holiday period behind.

After all, the internet is a wonderful thing, so it's not too unreasonable to assume that there is a stock tracker out there which can help you find console availability.

When will the Xbox Series X be in stock?

Right now, at the exact minute that I'm writing this article, it looks like the Xbox Series X and S are sold out pretty much everywhere, much like the PlayStation 5's stock. However, it appears different retailers are restocking almost every day, so we'd recommend keeping your eyes out.

If you're wondering how long it will be until the Xbox Series X stock level increases, Microsoft's CFO, Tim Stuart, explained at the Jefferies Interactive Entertainment conference that he believes, "we'll continue to see supply shortages as we head into the post-holiday quarter, so Microsoft’s Q3, calendar Q1. Where can you buy Xbox Series X in 2021? Where is the new Xbox in stock UK?

Currys have frequently posted more Xbox Series X stock on their website, but it has consistently sold out almost immediately. The retailer appears to be regularly adding more stock, so we'd recommend checking the stock here.

We know that Argos has sold out of its Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S stock, but if you click on either of those two links, you can register to be notified by Argos about stock availability!

There is also a live product page for the Xbox Series X on Amazon - you can click here to check it out. And there's an Amazon page for the Xbox Series S here. At the time of writing, both these two products are "Currently Unavailable" through official Amazon channels, with the latest stock wave on December 18 selling out in mere minutes. However, you might be able to buy a second-hand one by clicking where it says 'Available from these sellers', depending on if anyone is reselling their brand-new console.

GAME has also currently sold out of its latest of Xbox Series X/S stock, with no specifics about when the console will come back in stock, either. The retailer often restocks or releases consoles with long dispatch windows, so we'd suggest keeping an eye on its channels for flash stock announcements.

There is an official product page for the Xbox Series X/S on the Microsoft Store, which you can view in the US here, or here if you're in the UK - this seems to be out of stock at the moment, too.
