PS5 pre-orders: Where will PS5 orders be restocked in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, or NZ?

With the PS5 price and PS5 release date both finally confirmed, a lot of people now want to look into PS5 pre-orders.

There were rumours of stock shortages, and we do know for a fact now that the console will launch in select regions (USA, Japan, Mexica, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea) before reaching the rest of the world.

Indeed, stock seemed limited when pre-orders went live, with the PS5 selling out across the world just minutes after retailers opened up their orders.

If you missed out on the first wave of PS5 pre-orders, here's a look at which retailers, if any, have PS5's in stock, and which places are planning to restock soon.

PS5 price by country

The fabled PS5 price was finally shown off during the PS5 event, and while the conversion rate roughly translates to a similar price across the world, there are some differences.

The PS5's Digital Edition is on sale for an RRP of $399.99 USD/$499 CAD/¥39,980/€399.99/£359.99.

The base PS5 is on sale for $499.99 USD/$629 CAD/¥49,980/€499.99/£449.99, according the latest PlayStation blog post.

PS5 pre-order restocks in the USA

As huge retailers such as Target, Best Buy, GameStop and Walmart burn through their allocate stock of PS5's, Amazon has also finally opened its PS5 pre-orders to the world.

Everything moved very quickly when orders went live, and at the time of writing the Amazon product page says ‘Currently Unavailable’, which means the first wave of stock may have run out.

You can click here to check the Amazon page, though – it might have updated since we wrote this.

Amazon now has the PS5's Digital Edition up for order, too, at $399.99. Given the popularity of the cheaper console, however, it also sold out incredibly quickly, meaning the Amazon page might say 'Currently Unavailable' by the time you check it, which you can do here.

As for other retailers, Best Buy's PS5 page currently says orders are 'Coming Soon', suggesting that Best Buy is attempting to gather a second wave of PS5 stock to release.

Target has also sold out of PS5 consoles. Its PS5 page urges customers to "Check back on release date" if they want to order a console. Whether this means the retailer is reserving consoles for launch day walk-ins, or hopes to receive stock after the console's release, we'll have to wait and see.

Pre-orders in the UK were intended to open on September 17, but a few retailers actually opened their pre-orders on September 16 following the PS5 event!

As with the US, Amazon opened its pre-orders to UK customers at 9 AM BST, but given the fluidity of these pre-orders, the links for the PS5 Digital Edition and PS5 may say 'Currently Unavailable' while the company waits for restocks.
