Phil Spencer continues to be the face of Xbox, acquiring studios and hyping up new games such as Starfield before their release. Now that the aforementioned sci-fi RPG is out, players are thanking Spencer by adding his face to the in-game flashlight.

Simply called the “Phil Spencer Flashlight,” this creation from Nexus mods adds Spencer’s face to the flashlight you use. This means every time you explore a dark planet or one of its caves, players will see Phil Spencer guiding the way.

It’s genuinely amusing to see Spencer modded into Starfield this way since he’s been a guiding light for Xbox in recent years. The mod also shows just how weird and creative Bethesda’s fanbase can get (and we wouldn’t change a thing).

We wouldn’t be too surprised if players are already creating characters based on Spencer. Hilariously, some fans have also created Todd Howard in the game, since he’s essentially the face of Bethesda.

Bethesda has always been very encouraging of the modding community and the company said they would stay that way for Starfield. Fans have made some crazy mods for Skyrim and Fallout 4 in the past, so now we can see some of that insanity in space.

Starfield is now available for Early Access buyers, while everyone else can pick up the RPG on September 6.
