After many initially wrote it off as a sales bomb, Titanfall 2 has slowly regained relevance and is now getting a new update. While the game has recently suffered from a lack of support, hacking campaigns, and other issues, Titanfall 2 is back.

Twitter user Kim Quiday posted about some of the improvements now available to the shooter. Disconnects from the menu are now rare, with it mostly happening due to slow internet and lack of activity now. Private matches are also no longer in beta, so anyone who wants to just play with friends can do so.

Fans are also discovering the Attack on Titanfall mode, which is based on the popular manga and anime Attack on Titan. In this mode, players are given three charges for the grapple ability, similar to the main characters of the anime, and must try to take down these robots.

Seeing all of this love for a thought-to-be-forgotten classic is great, especially since Titanfall 2 is a great game. Beyond all of the multiplayer trappings, which are great, the shooter is also home to an excellent single-player campaign. Most will agree that the campaign is worth it alone but it just so happens to have good multiplayer modes.

These days, most fans tend to associate Titanfall with Apex Legends, since they share the same universe. Apex Legends is still a huge hit now, constantly getting updated with new characters and changes.

Unfortunately, the popularity of Apex Legends has led to EA being unkind to Titanfall. Apparently, plans for a new Titanfall title were scrapped by EA for unknown reasons, which was really disappointing. Hopefully, with the renewed interest in Titanfall 2, EA will do more with the franchise.
