Elden Ring, released two years ago, remains one of the biggest games of the 2020s. The game received critical acclaim upon release, and excitement for the upcoming expansion is at an all-time high. If you want to join in on the hype, this Elden Ring GPU could be a great purchase. But will it be powerful enough for your adventure in the Land of Shadow?

For the best graphics cards, Nvidia and AMD typically top the list. However, this Elden Ring GPU (via VideoCardz and RepsUp100) is actually a limited edition Intel Arc 750 and 770, making it an underdog in the battle between Team Green and Team Red.

You might associate Intel with their various high-performance CPUs, usually landing them in the best CPUs list, but the company has been trying to enter the GPU market with its Intel Arc range. These budget-friendly options compete in a market dominated by Nvidia and AMD, but are they good enough?

The minimum requirement for the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC is an Nvidia GTX 1060, while the recommended spec is an Nvidia GTX 1070. Fortunately, both the Arc 750 and the 770 outperform the 1070. However, Nvidia drivers are generally more reliable, so there may be some issues around launch day until Intel releases updates.

You won't just be playing Elden Ring with this GPU. In most cases, Intel's upscaling tech, XeSS, isn't as good as DLSS. However, it can perform better than FSR, and for the situations where it doesn't, your Intel Arc card can still run FSR.

The prices for the GUNNIR Elden Ring GPUs haven't been announced yet, but they are expected to be in the $300-500 range, with the Intel Arc 770 costing slightly more than the 750. Intel Arc cards have received considerable support since their launch, making this a great budget-friendly way to showcase your love for Elden Ring. However, if you're looking for the best GPU on the market, you might need to consider other options.
