Starfield is only a few weeks away but, unfortunately, massive spoilers for the open-world RPG are already out. The entire game’s plot has somehow leaked, so fans will have to tread carefully when going online.

On the game’s official subreddit, the community warned everyone that spoilers will be coming from a particularly angry Twitter user. Going by XboxTears360, this user has released alleged spoilers online, spreading them everywhere.

Apparently, said user is a biased PlayStation fan and has begun spoiling the story since this open-world title isn’t coming to PS5. Twitter user PeterOvO has advised many fans to block the individual so they don’t run into these spoilers.

While most fans won’t be playing Starfield for the plot, this is still pretty disappointing behavior. Gamers want to be surprised by this open-world RPG in space and knowing that spoilers are out there will make heading to specific message boards risky.

Starfield is not the only AAA game to suffer from spoilers released before the launch date. Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XVI also managed to have its entire story leak before release, as well as Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, God of War: Ragnarok, and a number of other AAA games.

Unfortunately, these kinds of leaks are far from new when it comes to the video game industry. An unhappy Naughty Dog employee infamously leaked all of The Last of Us Part 2 months before release. Recently, copies of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom made their way online weeks before the game’s official release.

These spoilers aside, there’s still plenty to be excited about when it comes to Starfield. Recently, Bethesda confirmed that their Xbox exclusive has officially gone gold, which means it should be a complete product at launch. An official timeline for the game was also released, giving players a brief history of why humans can now live on planets.
