Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is finally giving us Peter in the symbiote suit following the costume’s historic absence in the first game. Reception to its appearance has been positive and that goes double for this new Hot Toys figure of the character.

Hot Toys shared their figure for Symbiote Spider-Man on Facebook and it looks marvelous, pun intended. Like many of Hot Toys’ releases, players can customize how the statue looks, with alternate heads to determine what Peter’s mask will look like.

Whatever they choose, this figure of Symbiote Spider-Man will look great no matter what. The attention to detail is insane, as fans can also see the lines from the Advance Suit popping out. As if the current design wasn’t sick enough, the symbiote-filled spider legs add an extra aura of cool and frightening.

The excitement for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is at an all-time high. San Diego Comic-Con revealed a new story trailer that essentially spoils who Venom is going to be. Prior to that, we also had an excellent Gameplay showcase that revealed new travel options and some fun-looking combat.

Despite similarities to The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and the janky Spider-Man 3 video game, fans are still excited to dip into this story. Peter is going to go through a lot of major drama with and without the symbiote, which has always been Spidey’s shtick.
