The most popular Hogwarts Legacy house has been revealed and it won’t be much of a surprise to any Harry Potter fans. Ever since the books became popular, fans of the series always wanted to be in Gryffindor or Slytherin due to Harry and Draco Malfoy’s rivalry.

According to data seen in PSN Profiles, most players are joining Malfoy in Slytherin. Granted, the game is set in a time before Malfoy existed, but fans finally get to see their original characters in the iconic snake-themed attire. While they can’t make out with Draco, they can always write about it in their fanfictions.

In regards to how the most popular house in Hogwarts Legacy was determined, the website tracked which house Trophies were the most received on PlayStation 5. Slytherin is currently the most popular, followed by Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. This means poor Hufflepuff was last, even after Newt Scamander was the focus (somewhat) in the Fantastic Beasts movies.

Despite this, keep in mind that Slytherin is only the most popular house in Hogwarts Legacy so far. Most of the people playing the game are doing so through the Deluxe Edition, so this can change when the game is more readily available to the public. For now, it seems that Slytherin wins.

We have to admit that Slytherin being the game’s most popular house right now makes some unfortunate sense. After all, J.K. Rowling hasn’t changed her mind about transgender people, and those who support her even said they’d buy the game out of spite to “own the libs.”

Now, we’re sure there are Harry Potter fans who bought Hogwarts Legacy to live out their wizarding fandom, but don’t act like this isn’t somewhat topical. Regardless of why one bought this game, we urge fans not to bully anyone like people did Girlfriend Reviews.

Fans willing to pay more can get the Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition now if they want to play the game early. Everyone else can pick up the RPG on February 10. Last-gen console owners and Switch fans will have to wait a bit longer for their version of the magical school RPG.
