The developers behind the fantastic-looking CRPG Baldur’s Gate 3 have been banned from social media platform TikTok over a raunchy feature in the new game. As it turns out, the Baldur’s Gate 3 devs were banned for showing off a raunchy scene between the player and a bear.

Alongside having over 170 hours of cutscenes, a large number of classes and weapons, and more, Baldur’s Gate 3 will allow you to have full on sex with a Druid in bear form. Yep, that’s right — you can get bareback with a bear, if you can bear it.

Baldur’s Gate 3 devs Larian Studios decided to show off the new bear-slamming feature on its official TikTok account. Unfortunately, for Larian, TikTok’s moderation saw this as explicit content that isn’t allowed on the platform.

Michael Douse, Larian Studios Director of Publishing, revealed that the raunchy bear scene resulted in TikTok ending the devs’ promotional stream and banning its account.

"It was too artistic and they don't understand." joked Larian boss Swen Vincke. “Every single person who’s seen it is like, ‘Oh my God.' But it’s funny."

Developed by the team behind Divinity: Original Sin II, Baldur’s Gate 3 appears to be one of the deepest Dungeons and Dragons experiences to ever be present in a video game. Designed to offer the same limitless creativity found in the tabletop game, the new character roleplaying game already looks amazing.

Alongside being able to bang all manner of human-turned-animal companions, Baldur’s Gate 3 offers a large number of simulation features that are honestly mind-blowing.

For example, in the game your actions will result in newspaper articles being written about your good and bad deeds. However, you’ll also be able to take over the press offices to spew propaganda about yourself. What other games let you do that?

Baldur’s Gate 3 is scheduled for an August 3rd release on PC, an earlier launch than expected. The game was initially set to release on August 31st, but moved to avoid competing with Bethesda Game Studios’ Starfield.

The upcoming RPG is also coming to consoles. Firstly, the game will release on PlayStation 5 on September 6th. Xbox Series X and Series S ports are planned, but Microsoft’s weaker machine is causing a number of issues.
