After Snoop Dogg, U.S. reality TV star Paris Hilton is the latest celebrity to enter into the Metaverse. Recently, she has launched her own Metaverse business on the Roblox gaming platform. It’s called “Paris World” and we are curious to see what this Metaverse is all about. So, let's explore the details!
What is Paris World Metaverse on Roblox?
In short, Paris World is the celebrity's virtual world in the Roblox Metaverse. The island includes a replica of her Beverly Hills mansion, DJ stages, a zoo, private jet, yacht and more. In addition, Paris Hilton recreated her neon carnival-inspired wedding in the Metaverse.
Online-radio platform Dash Radio’s DXSH gaming studio division is producing all the events and programming inside the Paris World experience. They aim to build "a one-of-a-kind experience that mirrors events happening IRL to the OG influencer, Paris Hilton, into the metaverse that all can experience".
The Paris World Metaverse officially went live on October 6, 2021. The island is currently open for free access to all Roblox users. However, Paris World will collect small payments for purchasing virtual clothing or booking a ride on a jet-ski.
