Snapchat streak lost? We've got you covered!
The Snapchat app has a number of unique features that are centred around friendship such as Snapchat Plus Planets, Snapchat Friend emoji, Snapstreak, etc. Snapstreak motivates friends to keep messaging each other by rewarding them with brownie points.
And losing a Snapstreak can be frustrating and disappointing, especially if you and your friend have worked hard to keep it going. So in this article, we will help you recover your lost Snapchat streak and keep it going.

What to do if your Snapchat streak is lost
As you already know, to keep a Snapstreak going, you and your friend must both Snap (not Chat) each other at least every 24 hours. Note that Snaps sent with Memories or Spectacles content to other Snapchatters do not count towards your Snapstreaks.
If you lost your Snapchat streak because one of you fail to send a Snap within 24 hours, then there is nothing you can do to recover it. Remember that losing Snapstreak is not the end of the world, and start a new streak with your friend.
On the other hand, if you lost your Snapstreak and you know you’ve sent a Snap (not Chat) back and forth within the 24-hour window, it is possible that technical glitches in the app or in the Snap servers are to blame.
In that case, you can reach out to the Snapchat support team and request them to restore your Snapstreak. We will discuss it in detail in the next section. So, keep reading!
Snapchat streak support
Losing a Snapchat streak is not an uncommon thing and that's why the Snapchat support team has a dedicated page to help all the unfortunate users who lost their carefully crafted streak.
To restore your lost Snapchat streak, go over here and fill out the form at the bottom of the page with the necessary information. Snapchat will then investigate the issue and try to restore your streak.
It is worth noting that your Snapstreak will be restored only if your case is genuine. In case you lost your Snapchat streak due to failing to send a Snap within 24 hours, Snapchat will not restore it.
