One of the things Alienware users tend to get rid of is the Command Center. Some of them had issues with their PC or laptop because of it.
So uninstalling the Alienware Command Center became the best solution to avoid such problems that occurred or might occur again in the future.
Just take note of the steps how to do it, and you can get rid of the somewhat 'infamous' feature available with the system.
And so, here's how to uninstall and get rid of the Alienware Command Center:
Deleting the Command Center folder
The official support page of Dell compiled the steps for you to uninstall the Command Center on your own Alienware device.
First off, you need to uninstall the Command Center from the Programs and Features option. Once you are done, launch the Run command and type in %appdata% and press Enter.
Remove any Alienware folder on your way. The type %programdata% and press Enter. Head on to the C:\Program Files\Alienware\.
Once you are there, delete the Command Center Folder Only option that you will see.
Uninstalling the Alienware Command Center
Now go to the Documents folder of your PC. Select the AlienFX and Alienware TactX Folders and delete those.
Then launch again the Run command and type in regedit. Look for the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Alienware.
Once done, choose and delete the AlienFXMediaPlugin, Alienware AlienFX, CCPlugins, and Command Center folders.
Then once again look for another registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Alienware, and delete the AlienFXMediaPlugin, Alienware AlienFX, and Command Center folders. Restart your system, and the Alienware Command Center is now uninstalled.
