The standard method to connect your Xbox One controller to your Google Stadia directly, is by using a cable.
According to The Verge, the Xbox One controller's micro-USB port is key for this to work.
Simply plug it in and connect to both devices, and that's it. Your Xbox One controller will now work on Google Stadia and can enjoy all the games the service offers with it.
Connect your Xbox One controller to Google Stadia via Bluetooth
Another method is to connect the controller via Bluetooth, but make sure yours has this feature, as different Xbox One controllers either do or don't have Bluetooth.
Once you find that it does, here's how to connect to your 'Stadia' device wirelessly:
- Hold the Xbox button on your controller.
- Wait for it to light up. Once it does, press on the connect button and hold it until the Xbox logo will blink.
