Fix Apex Legends Engine Error with Administrative Privileges

To give Apex Legends administrative access, you need to do the following:

• Right-click on the Apex Legends icon and select Open File Location.
• Right-click on the r5apex executable and select Properties.
• Click on the tab which says Compatibility.
• Check the Run as Administrator box, then select Apply.
• Run the game, and see if you have resolved the issue.

Verify game files

• Open the Origin client and sign in.
• Click on Game Library
• In the Game Library, select Apex Legends, right click and choose Repair Game
• The client will then check all game files. It will identify any missing or corrupted files, and fix or replace them, as appropriate.

Registry settings

• Right click on the desktop, hover over New and click on Text Document.
• Enter the following command:

• Then select File and click Save As.
• Choose file.reg as the file name, All Files as the file type, and click Save.
• Double click the saved file to open it.
