Why you probably don't want the Pascal GT 1010 graphics card

Getting your hands on a graphics card at the moment is pretty much as likely as getting to see a unicorn out in the wild.

It's an incredibly frustrating time to be looking at upgrading your PC or building a new one.

Well, the good news is that there are always new GPUs on the way, and while sometimes these things are impossible to find, sometimes you'll be able to pick up one hundred if you want.

Meet the Nvidia GeForce GT 1010.

What is the Nvidia GeForce GT 1010?

As reported by PC Gamer, the GeForce GT 1010 isn't exactly what you'd call an exciting GPU for a lot of people, but it still fills an important spot in the world of graphics cards.

As a low-end card, it does mean that more people can potentially get into owning a PC, but it's not powerful enough to really run any kind of game, so you're more likely going to be after this if you want a general use PC, not one for gaming.

So, while this may not be for you, and that's okay, it'll still fit the bill for a lot of people who aren't fussed about gaming.

Will there ever be more stock for the Nvidia 30 series?

Of course, if you came here looking for a gaming GPU then it's highly likely that you're looking for a 30 series one.

We should eventually see more stock come in, but even as it does it's likely to get picked up by scalpers almost immediately, especially as cryptocurrencies are currently riding high.

It's kind of a mess, and we're hoping that the companies selling these GPUs can try and curb all of the people not actually using them, but it's an almost impossible task.
