The PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition have now rolled out around the world, but you might be struggling to find one and wondering when a restock might happen.
If you're not willing to splash out thousands for a PS5 that's being sold by scalpers on eBay, some online retailers are gradually releasing new stock being sent to them by Sony, who will be producing more PlayStation 5 consoles by the minute.
After all, the internet is a wonderful thing, so it's not too unreasonable to assume that there is a stock tracker out there which can help you find console availability.

When will the PS5 be in stock?
UK retailers previously warned that they will not have anymore PlayStation 5 stock until 2021, as the next-gen console faced unprecedented demand in the build-up to the Christmas period, as first reported by VGC.
The Argos website, for example, displayed a message telling customers it will not have any PlayStation 5's in stock for the rest of the year.
Smyths also has similar levels of stock. It previously restocked in early January 2021, although this sold out almost instantly.
However, as we move further into 2021, there's good news surrounding the PlayStation 5's stock...

PS5 Stock in 2021
With the busy Christmas period now behind us, PlayStation 5 stock should gradually start increasing as retailers are no longer burdened by having to ship consoles out by December 25.
Sony is also allegedly increasing its PS5 production for 2021, with Digitimes reporting that Sony may ship between 16 and 18 million units in 2021.
Citing its "industry sources", Digitimes said that AMD will be able to produce further PS5 CPUs having secured support from partners including the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company. This support will allegedly increase AMD's CPU yield by over 40%.

PlayStation Direct UK/EU could release in 2021
The PlayStation Direct site, which sells PlayStation products to consumers directly from Sony, could see a UK/EU release next year, following the release of a job listing by PlayStation Europe.
PlayStation Europe is currently searching for a Director for PlayStation Direct Europe. The listing states that "As a part of this evolution, we are looking to build on the successful launch of new direct-to-consumer business in the US with the launch in Europe."
"Reporting to the Vice President, PlayStation Direct based in San Francisco, this role will be responsible for the European sales strategy and delivering the sales targets of the direct to consumer hardware business in Europe. Working collaboratively with PlayStation Direct ('PSD') leaders, the role will form part of the executive leadership team to drive PlayStation's direct to consumer business forward."
This could mean that UK and European gamers may soon be able to buy products from PlayStation Direct - which has been heralded by many in the US as creating a better way to buy in-demand PlayStation tech.

Where can you buy PS5 direct? Where is the PS5 in stock in the UK?
Following its biggest console launch ever (with estimates from VGChartz putting the PS5's sales at over 2.1m units), Sony recently tweeted thanking its fans for all the support. The company thanked "gamers everywhere," while also confirming that "more PS5 inventory will be coming to retailers before the end of the year."
While UK retailers may be warning of low stock levels, new stock seems to be appearing pretty sporadically, so we'd recommend keeping an eye on various retailers.
For fans in the UK, the retailer Curry's is one place that seems to keep receiving more PS5 shipments, and you can click right here to go to the Curry's PS5 page!
While Amazon's product page says 'Currently Unavailable', you'll want to be keeping an eye on its PS5 listing here , as the retailer is known to keep restocking its next-gen consoles. You can click here to check the Amazon page, though - it might have updated since we wrote this.
The PS5 Digital Edition also seems to be out of stock at Amazon, but we're hoping this will also come back into stock soon- you can click here to check out the product page for that one.
As we mentioned above, Argos has no more PS5 consoles in stock, likely until later in 2021. However, you can sign up for PS5 stock notifications from Argos using this link.
There is also a whole family of official PS5 products, from headsets to charging stations, which are available to order now and more likely to be in stock compared to the consoles- you can click here to check out the range. At the time of writing, Amazon's listing for these accessories has both the DualSense and HD Camera in stock, which you can order here.
Aside from these retailers, you can also check to see if there are any available PS5's direct from Sony/PlayStation through this link. Currently, the PS5 is out of stock on the site, but given not many people will think to check this website, it's certainly one to keep an eye on...

Where is the PS5 in stock in the US?
Much like in the UK, PlayStation 5's are in high demand across the pond, following a scramble by thousands of prospective PS5 owners who attempted to buy a PS5 before Christmas.
Best Buy seems to have regularly received further PlayStation 5 stock as recently as earlier this week, and so we'd recommend checking its site pretty regularly here.
Walmart is in a similar situation to Best Buy, with stock coming in pretty regularly only to sell out almost immediately. Again, we'd suggest checking here when you have the time.
Many consumers are seeing success at PlayStation Direct, which has implemented a strong queue system for those seeking a PS5. These queues can last over an hour and do not guarantee you will actually see a PlayStation 5 when you get to the front, but it's still worth checking.
