Is Stranger Things VR on PC?

Stranger Things VR will arrive as a Meta Quest exclusive game available on the Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest Pro when it launches on February 22, 2024. The game’s Quest store listing confirmed this information following a previous announcement that earmarked a fall 2023 release date.

Unfortunately, Tender Claws – who are the game’s developers - haven’t provided any official confirmation concerning the current or eventual availability of the game on PC. This means that no one knows if the game will ever receive a PC or Steam release in the future.

The general expectation is that Meta won’t provide a PC version of Stranger Things VR for you to enjoy, because a core part of their marketing communication has been centred on building up anticipation for the game’s release on the Meta Quest 3. Ultimately, Stranger Things VR will remain a Meta Quest exclusive title for the foreseeable future.

Now that you know the game will only be playable on Meta Quest technology, you can go ahead and pre-order the game on the Quest store. Purchasing this title ahead of its official release date grants you immediate access to the game when it launches, so, take advantage of the 10% discount currently available for grabbing an early copy.
