What’s new in Path of Exile 2 beta?

Path of Exile 2 will have new features such as extra ascendancy classes, reworked sockets, and improved character models. The Orb of Fusing will also become obsolete since sockets from dropped skill gems will always be linked in POE 2.

Additionally, the skills granted by ascendancy classes will now scale according to character level and not at specific levels. This simply means that character builds will become more flexible and stronger.

Also, any microtransaction items that you own in Path of Exile 1 will carry over to POE 2. You can also farm for new currencies essential for trading.

In terms of story, POE 2 is set 20 years after the downfall of Kitava. Ambitious warmongers and plotters are now preparing to carve their bloody marks in Wraeclast, attracting many adventurers far and wide.

Path of Exile 2 will be released on different platforms like PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Players are still speculating if the game will be released on Xbox Series S and X.
