How to upgrade Nightingale tools
To upgrade your tools in Nightingale, you'll need to craft an Upgrade Station at your base. The Upgrade Station can be used for every single weapon, tool, and piece of gear you're wearing. To take any item to the next level, you'll need some Essence.
Upgrading a weapon from Simple to Uncommon requires T1 Essence which is available to earn while exploring the Antiquarian world. Earn Essence by completing quests, defeating enemies that drop them, and collecting resources.
Once you've got enough Essence, head to the Upgrade Station and select the item you want to enhance. Once complete, the item will upgrade your gear score which is key to tackling high-level opposition.
If you're after even stronger equipment, you'll need to upgrade the Upgrade Station which requires Augments. These can be earned by working through the main storyline and earning Realm Cards.
