When a fighting game sequel comes out, players are always anxious to learn whether their favorite characters will be playable or not. The next game from NetherRealm Studios doesn’t come out until September 14, 2023, but they’ve already revealed the first batch of Mortal Kombat 1 DLC characters. Of course, Mortal Kombat is also set to make a return with Mortal Kombat 1. The numbering may be a bit confusing, but it is the sequel to Mortal Kombat 11.

Who are the DLC characters in Mortal Kombat 1?
Mortal Kombat 1’s first DLC bundle will be a nice mix of familiar faces from previous MK installments and guests from other franchises. Here are the characters that will be in the game’s Kombat Pack 1.

- Ermac
- Takeda
- Omni-Man
- Homelander
- Peacemaker
Fighting game DLC characters is always a fun topic to follow since we end up with some crazy crossovers like The Walking Dead’s Negan being in Tekken or Darth Vader showing up in Soul Calibur. Mortal Kombat has always found guest characters that fit its ultra-violent gameplay and it looks like the upcoming sequel is keeping that trend.
