Dramatic Masks in Lethal Company are dangerous mimic items that can possess players and influence how they behave. There are a few different ways that allow these masks to take over your body, so it’s best to try to avoid picking them up altogether.
Once a mask possesses a player, that person will be killed off. They will then get to enjoy watching their body hunt down the rest of the team through spectator mode.
How to use the Dramatic Mask in Lethal Company
If you’re looking to actually achieve the goals set by the Company, we don’t suggest trying to activate Dramatic Masks. But if you want to see its effects for yourself then there are a few different ways to use the Dramatic Mask. The quickest way to use these masks would be to hold one out and press the left mouse button.
Here are the different ways you can let a Dramatic Mask take control of your body in Lethal Company:
- Hold out a mask and wait. There is a chance of becoming possessed every few seconds.
- Hold out a mask and press the left mouse button. There is a chance of possession as soon as you hold the mask up to your face.
- Die will a mask is in your inventory. This basically guarantees that your body will be taken over.
Once activated, the mask will then lock on to one team member and hunt them down. If that ally is taken out, the mask will simply move on to its next target until the entire group is wiped out.
Lethal Company Dramatic Mask types
There are two types of Dramatic Masks in Lethal Company. The only difference between the two is the amount of time it takes to take over the player foolish enough to put the mask on.
- Comedy Mask – ten-second timer
- Tragedy Mask – 2-second timer
Once the timer is up, you will get a jump scare and be sent to spectator mode where you can watch your teammates get picked off one by one.
How to tell if Lethal Company Dramatic Mask is active
To find out if a Dramatic Mask is active, you’re going to have to get a good look at a player’s face. If they have it on, then the mask surely has its hold on them.
While under the effects of a Dramatic Mask, your body will continue to behave like a member of the team. It can still open doors, exit the facility, and enter the home base.
The only way to remove a Dramatic Mask is by teleporting the player who has it.
