Get ready to move to the beat as Just Dance VR takes you to a world of bright lights and catchy music. The rhythm game franchise has been around for well over a decade and it's showing no signs of stopping. It’s always taken advantage of the latest motion capture technology, but Just Dance VR is its first foray into virtual reality.

Having been announced in 2022, Just Dance VR was initially set to be an exclusive title for the PICO 4 headset. However, things didn’t go as planned and the popular dance game found a new partner in Meta. So if you feel like taking a break from the action of VR games like Into the Radius 2 or Batman Arkham Shadow, Just Dance VR will be there to provide you with some lighthearted fun. Just Dance VR Release Date

Just Dance VR will be released on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, for Meta VR headsets. The game was originally slated for a release in 2023, but the delay is a direct result of the circumstances regarding the discontinued partnership with PICO.

Fans will have to wait a bit longer for Just Dance VR, but at least the game hasn’t been completely shelved. Those who were looking forward to playing the dance title with a PICO headset are still out of luck though.

Since the developers of Just Dance have decided to partner up with Meta, it makes sense that the upcoming VR title would be made exclusive to the company’s line of headsets.
