How to get to Moonrise Towers in Baldur’s Gate 3

To reach the Moonrise Towers, you must go through the Underdark or the Mountain Pass. The Mountain Pass is an easier way, while the Underdark is more dangerous due to the monsters lurking in there.

After going through either the Underdark or the Mountain Pass, you’ll reach the Shadow Cursed Lands. This area will serve as a checkpoint and a special landmark before you reach the Last Light Inn. The Inn can help your party replenish supplies, and it’s also the place where you can meet Isobel, Dammon, and Jaheira.

As you travel beyond the Last Light Inn, you’ll eventually reach Reithwin Town. This is a shadow-cursed town with various interesting locations like the Tollhouse, The Waning Moon, and the Mason’s Guild.

Go to the Waning Moon and you’ll see the Moonrise waypoint nearby. Walk through the bridge and you’ll reach the passage towards the Towers.

What can be found in the Moonrise Towers?

The Moonrise Towers Prison contains new quests and tougher enemies, such as Z’rell, the Half-Orc lieutenant of a cult called The Absolute. You can also find NPCs like Wulbren and some captive Tieflings. Some of the lootable items in the Towers are potions, jewellery, gold coins, and even an Arrow of Arcane Interference.

Additionally, the prison has a creepy sub-area known as the Oubliette, where prisoners are thrown in to be devoured later by Hook Horrors. The Oubliette is also under the control of a tricky enemy called The Warden.

Also, the two important quests in the Moonrise Towers are ‘Rescue Wulbren’ and ‘Rescue the Tieflings.’ Finishing both quests will let you earn Wulbren’s trust and additional rewards.
