Being a wizard is no easy job, especially if you've been doing it for a while and you have a long white beard to keep. But we also would like our little wizard to be styled to our liking, so here's all you need to know on how to change your appearance in Hogwarts Legacy.

While at the start, all players can style their characters to their liking, perhaps you might want to also change later and how to do it might not really be easy to understand.

But do not worry, as we are here to help you. Here's how to change your appearance in Hogwarts Legacy.

How to change appearance in Hogwarts Legacy

While it is not difficult to change your wizard's style and appearance in Hogwarts Legacy, it does require a little bit of in-game money. In order to change your wizard, you need to find beauticians or barbershops, which are normally found in many of the towns in the game.

For example, pretty early on in the game, you will be able to visit Madam Snelling’s Tress Emporium in the town of Hogsmeade. For the sum of 20 coins, you can modify the wizard's appearance including the hairstyle, hair colour, eye colour, complexion, and eyebrow shape.

In all subsequent towns, you can look at the map to easily find the shops to change your appearance. Just find the little "scissor" icon on the map and there, for a little sum of money, you will be allowed to change your wizard's look.

Speaking of changing appearance, did you know that you can make your character look blue like an Avatar? Yep, see Hogwarts Legacy blue characters. Just kidding! It's a bug in the game.

How to change your gear's appearance

While playing through the game and completing quests and unlocking achievements, Hogwarts Legacy will gift the player with several different styles for our gear. This does not affect the item at all, just its look, so you can be free to try out whatever style better fits your mood.

In order to try out an unlocked style, just open the gear menu and select an item, for example, a hat, and you should see a prompt. Click to enter another menu and you will be free to select a different style.
