How to make a bow in DayZ
To craft a bow in DayZ, the first thing you need to do is find a stick and some rope. Once you have the necessary components, open up your inventory and drag the rope to the stick and you will be given the option to create an improvised bow.
Sticks are fairly easy to find as you can simply walk up to a tree and cut off a branch with a sharp tool. Ropes are a bit harder to come by, but you can craft an improvised rope by combining two rags.
After applying your rope to a stick, you’ll be able to equip the improvised bow. All you need now is some ammo.
How to make arrows in DayZ
When making arrows in DayZ, the first step is to gather some sticks. The sticks you need for arrows are smaller than the ones required for your bow, so be sure to use your tools on a bush rather than a tree.
Right-click on the sticks after they appear in your inventory then select Sharpen All Sticks. Once that’s done, look for a chicken coop to collect some feathers. With the feathers in your inventory, drag them over to your sharpened sticks and you will obtain five improvised arrows.
