Currently, there are not a tons of mods for Baldur's Gate 3, but some of them we are definitely a fan of. Such as Tav's Hair Salon, Playable Ogre and MoreFeats are some of our favorites. Other mods are mostly related to UI overhauls and playable race extensions.

Here are the best mods available for Baldur's Gate 3:

  • Party Limit Begone: by using this mod you can have a full party of 16 characters and also multiplayer with 8.
  • Playable Ogre: With this mod, you can now play as an Ogre. Since an Ogre is a big creature, it can open up the possibility for a pure combat or crusher build.
  • Choose your Stats: this allows you to drink a potion to respec your character, quite useful if you changed your mind while playing.
  • Playable Goblin: This mod will allow you to play as a tricky yet agile goblin. Keep in mind that Goblins have small HP pools, so using the Playable Goblin mod will feel like a challenge.

How to install Baldur's Gate 3 mods

Installing BG3 mods can be done by following some basic steps, basically you need to unpack the files in the right directory and then update a file. You just need to be aware of file directories, especially the location of your Baldur's Gate 3 folder.

These are all the needed steps for installing BG3 mods:

  • Download a mod file (usually a .pak file) from Nexus Mods.
