How to open the gilded chest
To open the gilded chest, you must find it first in the Owlbear Cave. Afterwards, you can solve the chest’s puzzle and disperse Selune’s Seal by activating a divine prayer sheet. Any character can activate the sheet, except for Shadowheart.
Follow these steps to know how to break Selune’s Seal:
- Jump over the gap to go behind Selune’s statue.
- Pass the automatic Perception check to notice a piece of paper.
- If you fail the Perception check, jump onto the gap repeatedly until you succeed.
- Buff the character assigned to jump if they’re constantly failing.
- Once successful, interact with the paper to notice that it is a prayer sheet.
- If you pass the automatic Religion check, you’ll know the purpose of the sheet.
- If the Religion check fails, jump back to the spot near the chest, open your inventory, and read the prayer sheet. If it doesn’t work, try using a different character to read it.
- Once successful, Selune’s Seal will break and the gilded chest will lose its glow.
- Open the chest and get the rewards.
