The ASUS ROG Phone 8 line up has finally been announced during CES 2024, with the flagship device releasing fairly soon. ASUS' ROG smartphones have been leading the market for Android gaming, but the ROG Phone 8 is attempting to bring users looking for a great premium handset.

Not only does the ASUS ROG Phone 8 feature a host of AI features to help you when gaming or in your daily life, but there's some incredible tech under the shell that may finally sell you on ASUS' phones.

ASUS ROG Phone 8 release date

The ASUS ROG Phone 8 is set to launch in February 2024 for the UK and Europe, with a US release date coming later. The latest phone from ASUS comes in three models, the base, and two higher Pro variants.

You can purchase all of the models on the official ASUS store, while the cheaper two variants will be available on Amazon and SCAN UK.

The prices of the various ASUS ROG Phone 8 models are:

  • ASUS ROG Phone 8 - £949.99
  • ASUS ROG Phone 8 Pro - £1,099.99
  • ASUS ROG Phone 8 Pro Edition - £1,299.99

The most expensive model, exclusive to the ASUS store, comes with an AeroActive Cooler X in the box, alongside 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The Pro model comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, while the base ASUS ROG Phone 8 arrives with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

While most of the features remain the same across the line up, the ASUS ROG Phone 8 Pro comes with a unique AniMe mini-LED display on the back that can be customised and arranged by you. If you're hoping to pair this with the best phone controllers, you may want to save up a bit more.
