The good news is that Ark: Survival Ascended is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The exact date of the game's release on consoles is not known, but the estimated time is November.

The developers have spoken of critical issues with the multiplayer mode that would have significantly worsened the gameplay for players on consoles. In fact, the game was supposed to be released along with the PC version, but instead, it is being improved to ensure that you do not experience any problems or bugs.

In our opinion, this is the right decision because the developers care about the fans and don't want to release the product raw, so as not to repeat the fate of other infamously rushed titles such as Cyberpunk 2077.

As for the owners of previous generation consoles, such as PS4 or Xbox One, the news isn't good, as the game will not be available on these consoles. This is undoubtedly due to the game's heavy system requirements. Developed on the future-proof Unreal Engine 5, the developers would have to make too many concessions to bring it to these consoles, slowing down development for other platforms.
