If you've been keeping an eye on the hugely unpleasant but vastly successful Resident Evil series then you'll likely be aware of the big reveals that came last night during a special event.

It's a big deal for the series because frankly, aside from the co-op modes they've never had much success with these spinoffs.
Here's everything you need to know about Resident Evil Re:Verse.
What is Resident Evil Re:Verse?
Resident Evil Re:Verse is the latest attempt at a multiplayer mode from the series. We've got a little teaser trailer for you from the event below:
As you can see, it looks like being a terrible shot pays off because you can potentially mutate into one of the all-powerful bioweapons in this deathmatch-based game.
It's an interesting idea, but there's no way of knowing how good it'll be until anybody plays it.
The good news though, is that you can actually sign up to try it out during the beta test later this month.
How can you get into the closed beta test for Resident Evil Re:Verse
The first thing you'll need to do is actually sign up, and you can find out how to do that and also actually do it by going to the website.
The website also details the registration dates, which end on the 25th, which means you've only got a couple of days left to do this.
The beta tests themselves will be taking place from January 27th to January 31st depending on the time zones you're in, and is available on consoles.
