Microsoft Teams on Xbox: Is it possible to access your workplace on an Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S?


With the new age of staying indoors for the rest of time now upon us, it's a good idea to know what you can use to talk to people digitally in various different ways.

One of the things that a lot of people use is Microsoft Teams, which has helped a lot of people and businesses try and be a little more personal over the last year.

You might be wondering if you can use it on your Xbox, no matter which version you have.

So, here's everything you need to know about using Microsoft Teams on your Xbox One, Xbox Series S, or Xbox Series X.

Can you get Microsoft Teams working on Xbox One?

Right then, you can use Teams on Xbox One, but only via the Edge browser.

There's no proper app as of yet, which is a real shame for those hoping for a better experience.

There's also no way of doing video yet either, but it's the best you can manage with an Xbox One, so you're just going to have to deal with it.

Can you get Microsoft Teams working on an Xbox Series X or Series S?

This probably isn't going to be a huge surprise, but the same is true of the new consoles too.

It's quite possible that Microsoft will develop and Xbox-specific app that'll allow us all to use it natively on the Xbox consoles. It would be a logical step to make especially as we don't seem to be coming out of lockdown any time soon.

As long as that's the case, there's money to be made here. There's also the fact that a lot of places will continue to use remote working even after we're out of this mess, which is nice.
