How to wake Art Cullagh

To wake up Art Cullagh, you’ll need to obtain a battered lute and play a few notes on it for the comatose mercenary. You need to set out on another dangerous quest for this item, so make sure you’re prepared.

Here’s how to get the battered lute that will awaken Art.

  • Speak to Halsin at either Druid’s Grove or your camp.
  • Return to the Last Light Inn and you’ll find Halsin at Art’s side.
  • Speak to Halsin again, and then talk to the NPC named Fist J’ehlar.
  • Make your way to the House of Healing which is in the northwestern portion of the map.
  • In the House of Healing, you’ll encounter someone named Malus Thorm. Defeat Thorm in battle or try talking your way out of a fight.
  • Regardless of which approach you take with Malus Thorm, you’ll be able to loot the battered lute from his body after he is dealt with.
  • Return to Art Cullagh in the Last Light Inn and play some notes on the lute for him.

After waking up, Art will ask for Halsin and you’ll be able to continue the efforts to restore the Shadow-Cursed Lands to its former beauty.
