If you are reading this, you are probably confused with the Bonelab campaign. Well, you are not alone.
Many players have been struggling to figure out how to get past The Lab thing and play the rest of the Bonelab campaign. Although there is literally a screen as you walk in that tells you to go to the crane game, players seem to be confused about what to do next.
So, we have decided to make a guide to help the players who are stuck in The Lab. Also, we have mentioned a few hacks to get to the next level without breaking any sweat.
How To Play The Rest Of Bonelab Campaign On PC And Quest
Opening the game for the first time, you’ll begin the main campaign. After about 15 minutes, you will be introduced to a new hub area called The Lab. The Lab features a range of minigames, game modes and activities to explore.
Once you are in The Lab, the first thing you have to do is you have to play three minigames (parkour, mods, and arena) and then do the crane puzzle. Well, you don't need to actually play them; just launch them and then jump back to the hub. The minigames unlock orbs.
After playing the games, head to the top of the platform with the mirror and do the crane puzzle to pick up the unlocked orbs. Once you are up there, you will see two batteries lying on the floor; pick them up and place them in the slots on the left side of the generator.
Once done, walk up to the machine to your left and use the crane to pick up the 3 gold/yellow balls and place them in the allocated areas to unlock the Quarantine zone. After you successfully put the orbs in their places, you’ll be able to access the Quarantine zone and move on with the campaign.
There Is A Hack Though
If you are too confused or you find the minigames and the crane thing stupid, you would be delighted to know that you can get to the next level without playing these lame puzzles. Yeah, it is true.
All you have to do is go to the avatar mirror in the middle of the hub. To the left of that is another dialog box. Click info and it brings up a campaign-level selection screen. Select Level 3 (Long Run) and it will load you into that level. There is a chance, however, that your completed levels get stuck at Level 2. Open the Levels menu from your wrist menu to confirm it.
Of course, this is not the way you're meant to do it, but it is one way to do it. There is an alternative way as well, as this Reddit user reported. You can open the airlock (which is normally unlocked by doing the crane puzzle) by hand and then pry it open with long things like a shotgun.
Seemingly, some parts of the game are bugged, enabling us to do these little tricks to cheat our way through the game. Probably, these bugs will be fixed in the next update. Anyway, we suggest you go the intended way to unlock Level 3.
