Ori and the Will of the Wisps
Ori and the Blind Forest is still an excellent game, but the sequel somehow manages to be even better.
Despite its incredibly cute art style, it's actually an absurdly tough Metroidvania game that'll have you crushing your controller with frustration. However, it's also a lot of fun, so make sure you push through.

Forza Horizon 4
Racing games are a staple on nearly any console, but none really come close to how good Forze Horizon 4 is.
Racing around this stunning version of England is a treat that's hard to match, and there are so many fun things to do in this world that you'll never get bored.

Minecraft
Minecraft is one of those games which might actually just exist for the rest of time.

Sunset Overdrive
Sunset Overdrive is one of the best Insomniac games around and it's been confined to the Xbox One.
If you've not played it then you're missing out on an utterly bombastic game with some of the most entertaining gameplay of the last generation.

Rare Replay
We might be showing our age here (collectively), but Rare Replay is nearly perfect.
It'd be easy to go on about any of the games in this collection and talk about why you should play them, but it's simpler to just tell you to go and get the whole package.

Ashen
Ashen is a Soulslike game that's a bit different.
It feels a lot more hopeful than its inspirations, and while the gameplay feels just as good, it's a very different direction for the genre in terms of tone.
