It seems to be a week where things from 'ages ago' get an unexpected update out of nowhere, and today, it's the turn of Batman: Arkham Knight to receive some surprise new content.
Just yesterday, we were reporting that Sony has dropped an update for the PS3 console, so there's definitely something in the air right now with regards to old favourites being dusted off.

Batman Arkham Knight 2020 Update patch notes
Although we have seen some reports on Twitter of the update messing with certain meshes and forcing at least one player to restart their game, it doesn't look like Rocksteady has released any official Patch Notes for the 2020 Arkham Knight update.
The reason for the lack of patch notes, we'd wager, is that this is a fairly simple update (or at least, that's how it's intended to be). On Twitter, Rocksteady described the update as "a little gift just in time for the holiday season."
Rocksteady added: "From today, all Batman: Arkham Knight players can access the Zur En Arrh and Anime Batman skins via a free update."

How to claim the Anime Batman Skin or the Zur En Arrh suit in Arkham Knight
If you're wondering who or what a Zur En Arrh is, that would be a version of Batman who heralds from an alien world in the comics.
The Anime Batman skin is a bit more self-explanatory, as it harks back fairly obviously to some of the Dark Knight's animated appearances in that famous Japanese style.
To get the Zur En Arrh skin or the Anime Batman suit, simply boot up your console or PC, make sure you've still got Arkham Knight installed, try to open the game, and your system should prompt you to download the update before the game boots up.
Once the update is installed and you're into the game, simply head to the suits page of the menu and you should see these new outfits available to select!
